Raising Children

Capable Of Leaving Home

Meet Our Authors

Parenting doesn’t need more noise. It needs clarity, courage, and leadership. The authors of Raising Children Capable of Leaving Home have spent years studying what actually prepares children for adulthood — not just success in school, but strength in life. Their work is rooted in one central conviction: children become capable adults when parents lead intentionally. Through practical systems, clear principles, and lived experience, they equip families to raise young people who can function, decide, and thrive long after they leave home.

Meet the authors:

William C Hampton

Co-Founder, Futures Fulfilled | Co-Author, Raising

Children Capable of Leaving Home

William C. “Bill” Hampton has spent his career doing what few

leaders consistently achieve—turning complex challenges into

clear, practical solutions that produce real results.

He built his reputation in executive leadership roles with

Campbell Taggart, Inc. and later as Chairman & CEO of

Extended Technologies, where he helped grow the company into

an industry leader before its successful sale. Across multiple

industries, Bill has led turnarounds, developed innovative

systems, and guided organizations through periods of significant

growth and change.

But his work has always been driven by something deeper than

business success.

When asked what he does, Bill often says:

“My real job is to make dull things exciting, complicated things

simple, and to make the world a better place to live.”

Today, that purpose is focused on families.

As Co-Founder of Futures Fulfilled Co-Creator of The

ReadiKids® System, Bill brings decades of strategic insight to a

simple but powerful mission: helping parents prepare their

children not just for school—but for life. Through tools like the

Family Council and the Readiness Pack, the system helps

families build capability, confidence, and independence in the

next generation.

Frank M Fornaca

Co-Founder, Futures Fulfilled | Co-Author, Raising

Children Capable of Leaving Home

Frank M. Fornaca has spent his life understanding something

many overlook—what it truly takes to be prepared for the real

world.

He began his career working hands-on in the bakery industry,

pulling product from ovens, running delivery routes, and

ultimately rising to leadership as a company president. Those

early experiences instilled a deep respect for responsibility,

discipline, and the dignity of work—lessons that would later

shape his life’s mission.

His path then led him into the nonprofit sector, where he

served as an IT Director supporting at-risk youth. There, he

saw a consistent and troubling pattern: young people weren’t

lacking potential—they were lacking preparation.

But he also saw something just as important.

That gap could be solved.

A strategist and systems builder, Frank has led consulting

initiatives, managed intellectual property, and developed

practical frameworks that turn good intentions into consistent,

real-world results.

Today, that work is focused on families.

As Co-Founder of Futures Fulfilled and Creator of

ReadiKids®, Frank helps parents take an active, structured

role in preparing their children for life. Through tools like the

Family Council and the Readiness Pack, he is helping

families build responsibility, resilience, and confidence—long

before children leave home.
